What to Expect When You Sign Up for Services & Programs

Referral or Initial Call
Getting started begins with a referral from your child’s provider or a direct call to our office. Our team will gather basic information, answer your questions, and help schedule your first appointment with a clinician. We’ll guide you toward the best starting point based on your concerns and availability.

2.

Intake Forms
Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive intake forms to complete prior to your visit. These can be sent electronically or by mail—whichever works best for your family. The forms give us important background on your child’s development and needs. Please bring completed forms with you to your appointment.

3.

Parent Consultation
Your first visit typically begins with a parent consultation. This is a time to discuss your concerns, your child’s development, and your goals. Based on this conversation, the clinician will determine whether a formal evaluation is needed or if we can move directly into developing a plan.

4.

Plan of Care
This step may include a comprehensive evaluation or moving directly into the development of a personalized plan of care. We will create an individualized treatment plan based on clinical findings and consultation. This plan outlines therapy goals, recommended frequency of services, and the best approach to support progress.

5.

Begin Treatment
Services begin once an opening becomes available in our schedule and based on your child’s individualized plan of care. Sessions are engaging, interactive, and often play-based to support learning in a natural and meaningful way. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where your child can build skills, confidence, and progress over time.

Insurance and Payment Information

We accept a variety of insurance plans and funding sources to support the needs of families in our community, including:

  • Tricare

  • Kaiser (with Pre-approved authorization)

  • North Bay Regional Center

  • Sutter Select

  • Sutter Health Plus

  • Sutter Health

We also offer flexible payment options, including private pay. If your insurance is not listed, our team is happy to help you explore your options, verify benefits, and find the best path forward for your family.
