What is it like working at The Swain Center?
At the Swain Center, working here means being part of a collaborative, supportive, and highly engaged clinical team. You’ll be in an environment where evidence-based practice is not just encouraged—it’s the foundation of everything we do. Clinicians are supported in staying current with research, refining their clinical reasoning, and using innovative, individualized approaches to help children make meaningful progress in communication and social development.
Day to day, you’ll work closely with families and a multidisciplinary network of professionals, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure coordinated, whole-child care. Collaboration is central to our culture—no one works in isolation, and ideas are shared and valued across the team. The environment itself is both structured and warm—designed to support clinical excellence while also keeping the work meaningful and engaging.
