ANNOUNCEMENTS

PARENT NIGHT: OCTOBER 20, 2026

The Brain Under Pressure: When School Becomes Overwhelming

For our upcoming Parent Night, we’ll be discussing the common challenges children face both in and out of the classroom—and how to navigate the difficult emotions that come with them, from both a parent and child’s perspective. This session will be led by Dr. Swain, who will provide insight, practical strategies, and guidance you can take into everyday situations. Handouts will also be provided so you can continue to reference the information at home.

This is a parent-only event with limited seating, so we encourage you to RSVP as soon as possible.

We will offer childcare in our TinyTalkers room for families who need it; however, space is even more limited. If you plan to use childcare, please be sure to RSVP for your child as well.

Date: October 20, 2026
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Do you have a question about your child’s school struggles? Ask them here and we will do our best to answer it during our parent night Q&A portion of the event.

Feeding Program

Starting June 1st, we will be offering 1:1 feeding therapy sessions designed to support children who are picky eaters, avoid certain textures, or have not yet developed age-appropriate chewing skills. If mealtimes feel challenging or stressful, you’re not alone—and support is available.

What will it look like?
We begin with a comprehensive evaluation of your child’s eating habits, preferences, and challenges. From there, we create an individualized treatment plan in collaboration with you to support the best possible outcomes.

Sessions may include guided parent-child mealtimes, hands-on coaching to reduce stress and uncertainty around feeding, and strategies to help create a calm, supportive environment where your child can build confidence with food and work toward meeting their nutritional needs.
